Warning Description: Fire Weather Warning

Warning Date: 2:13 am EST on February 9, 2010

WarningSum:...Red Flag Warning In Effect From 11 Am To 6 Pm Est Wednesday...

Warning Message:The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a red flag
warning...which is in effect from 11 am to 6 PM EST Wednesday.
A cold front will advance across the fire weather region tonight.
This feature will likely bring gusty winds and much drier air to
the region on Wednesday. Winds are forecast from the northwest at
15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph and minimum relative humidities
are expected to fall into a 20 to 25 percent range. Low relative
humidity coinciding with gusty northwest winds are expected to
provide a high fire danger on Wednesday.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are expected to occur. A combination of strong winds and low
relative humidity will create explosive fire growth potential.
